About:
I have been working full-time as a computer technician for almost 15 years now. I spent the first 6 years working for two different local computer manufacturers and service providers, and for the last 9 years being self-employed through my business Personalized Computer Solutions. I specialize in providing small and medium sized organizations with business solutions. I can basically be your IT Department and take care of anything a normal IT Dept. would do. I started my business because I wanted to help the smaller companies get the same kind of quality service and solutions as the big guys without having to pay for a team of full-time employees. The alternative is to use either these big tech support companies like Geek Squad, which will over charge you and will treat you like a number, or use the little repair shop on the corner who mainly does repairs and upgrades and you have to bring the computer to. I am smart, friendly, knowledgeable, and I will come to you. I can do just a simply repair, or manage all of your technology needs.
Why: Again and again I see the responsibilities of the office's technology falling upon the person in the office who happens to know the most about it, whether he/she was the salesperson, accountant, or administrative assistant. Usually this prevents the person from properly performing their normal duties, and causing extra stress in their lives since this was not a responsibility they originally signed-up for. Not to mention it usually takes 3-4 times longer and ends up not being the best solution for the company anyways. Time is money, and my job is to help you use technology to make your company flow and grow. This will allow you to service your industry faster, better, and with more positive results. With today's technology your company can work smarter, collect and manage data better, mainstream procedures, secure company intellectual assets, and respond to clients quicker. I am not in the yellow pages and my business grows by old fashion referrals and word of mouth.
What is IT? Information Technology
IT is the area of managing technology and spans wide variety of areas that include but are not limited to things such as processes, computer software, information systems, computer hardware, programming languages, and data constructs. In short, anything that renders data, information or perceived knowledge in any visual format whatsoever, via any multimedia distribution mechanism, is considered part of the IT domain. IT provides businesses with four sets of core services to help execute the business strategy: business process automation, providing information, connecting with customers, and productivity tools.
